Pink Shirt Anti-bullying Day is an event to promote awareness, understanding, and openness about bullying and a shared commitment to a solution. It supports everyone who has experienced bullying as well as the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Vancouver’s anti-bullying programs.

Supporting this day will put us one step closer to ending bullying and the traumatizing effects caused by bullying. You can help by committing to a bully-free life and stopping bullying when you see it. Please support this cause and promote awareness of this issue either by wearing a pink shirt on Wed, Feb 23, or by pre-ordering one at $11 to wear.

Shirts are available in adult sizes ranging from small to extra-large. All proceeds go to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Vancouver.

To pre-order your shirt or for more information, please contact Lisa Robic, Human Rights Office intern, at Lisa.Robic@student.ufv.ca or local 4302. Shirts must be ordered before Fri, Feb 4 to ensure that they are here to wear on Pink Shirt Day.

For more information about the event and to see actions you can take to prevent bullying in your community visit www.pinkshirtday.ca

Shirts will also be sold on the Alumni Hall, Building B, Abby on Feb 23, from 11 am–1 pm. Shirts cost $11, but sizes will be limited so please pre-order to ensure you get a shirt that fits!
